Selena Gomez Rocks a Thigh-High Slit Dress for the ‘Only Murders in the Building’ Red Carpet Premiere

The new season of Only Murders in the Building isn't the only thing we're talking about this week.

Selena Gomez walked the red carpet for the premiere of the Hulu show and showed off a chic thigh-high slit dress. Um, just give us a second to gather our jaws off the floor. Her character is all about comfort (which we are always down for), but we definitely appreciate any glam looks Gomez rocks off-screen too.

The Rare Beauty founder wore a silver sequin gown straight from the Fall 2022 Michael Kors collection. Now, while we love the peekaboo cutouts, asymmetrical neckline and one-shoulder style, it's the thigh-high slit that drew our attention. It gives us a chance to marvel at her strappy heels by Jimmy Choos that paired well with the dazzling look. Honestly, let's give a round of applause to her go-to stylist Kate Young for putting the whole outfit together for the occasion.

Gomez also rocked Effy sterling silver hoop earrings (with a few small studs decorated on each ear) and pulled her hair back into a tousled low ponytail. She even added nice soft glam makeup (and yes, it was all Rare Beauty products) done by celebrity makeup artist Melissa Murdick.

The 29-year-old star celebrated the second season of OMITB along with her co-stars Steve Martin and Martin Short. The premiere also included celebs like Amy Schumer, Olivia Scott Welch and Elliot Gould, to name a few.

When asked about the show's success, she saw it as a learning experience working with two comedy legends. "What I've learned is to be more snarky with my jokes," she told Vanity Fair at the premiere. "I think I have a little more bite now. I will make a small dig, and Marty will look at me, and say, 'I showed her that. I taught her well.'"

Only Murders in the Building is currently streaming on Hulu, so we'll be binge-watch series while marveling at this chic look.
