That’s why we were thrilled to spot Princess Eugenie at the royal-adjacent wedding of the year this past week, when the Duke of Westminster, Hugh Grosvenor, wed Olivia Henson in Chester, England. First, metallic is trending, but the block heel, the ribbed leather, the delicate sheen—these shoes, which Eugenie was spotted in while en route to Hugh and Olivia’s super-secret wedding reception, come with just the right amount of panache. They seem sturdy enough to stand in for a long time, but also the kind of sandal you can keep on your feet for dancing into the wee hours of the night.

Of course, a wedding at this level required not just one pair of shoes, but two, which is why earlier that same day, we saw Eugenie don a different (and much more muted) Aquazzura style while attending the ceremony at Chester Cathedral. TBH, this pair—called the cherry pump, which is still available in beige—is another classic and versatile style that easily elevates wedding guest attire.
A quick disclaimer: An 85mm heel height—approximately three and a half inches—is high. (Her ceremony style was over four inches, wow.) Again, the block heel means added stability, but rest assured: There are several similar styles, also from Aquazzura, that will make it a breeze to replicate Eugenie’s look.
