Nordstrom Spring Fashion 2024 UNI

Guys, spring is officially around the corner. And as much as I'm excited for sunnier days, I hate being caught off-guard during the season that requires lightweight jackets one day and high-waisted shorts the next. So, to avoid feeling like Cher from Clueless with a massive closet and simply nothing to wear, I just spent an entire day shopping at Nordstrom. It's my go-to retailer whenever I have to update my wardrobe, especially since it carries all my favorite brands (including Steve MaddenFree People and Adidas, to name a few), and this time around, even I was pleasantly surprised by all the new spring styles I found for less than $200.

From the tiered Steve Madden Amira dress ($39) that buyers swear is super flattering and lightweight, to these Jeffrey Campbell mesh Mary Jane flats ($145) that are probably some of the chicest ballet flats I've ever seen, Nordstrom is totally stacked with on-trend gems at seriously impressive prices. Lucky for you, I don't gatekeep. If you want to step into spring looking like a million bucks, without breaking the bank, prepare to snag the seven styles below. You're welcome.

I love wearing dresses in the spring and summer, and when I came across this breezy style, I just couldn't resist. With a flowy tiered skirt that apparently sways with every step and an elastic waist that appears to have some serious shaping potential, this gauzy cotton midi is an obvious must for under $50. Just hear what this reviewer has to say: "This dress exceeded my expectations. The material has a crinkle texture and is soft. The fit is flattering and somewhat fitted in the bodice...Overall, the price and the style are a slam dunk."

No spring capsule wardrobe is complete without a pair of ballet flats, and if there's any I would consider worth every penny, it's this pair. Thanks to their fine mesh cast, there's no doubt they're as breathable as they come, while their minimalist leather trim and top strap give them a bit of structure. Most importantly, though, shoppers say they're comfortable enough to wear for hours, and that's all the reason I needed to scoop 'em up (as should you).

If you, like me, don't love wearing lightweight jackets during the spring, I highly suggest you snag this super chic cotton cardigan that I seriously cannot wait to wear. Obviously, the open stitching is the main attraction of the piece, making it as effortlessly fabulous as can be, but it also adds to its breathability if you run hot (or plan on wearing it over light layers). The platter collar (ahem, a Varley signature detail), ribbed cuffs and hem are also not to be missed, as they help create the slouchy-cool silhouette you'll love.

In the market for a lightweight blazer? Let me just say that I've held on to my Open Edit blazer for at least five years, and it still does not disappoint. You really can't go wrong with this relaxed one-button style, which boasts classic notched lapels and sleek welt pockets. Trust me, you'll find any excuse to wear it—from the office to happy hour—because it looks so polished and profesh, without being stuffy.

I've been searching for a T-shirt to elevate my everyday fits, and this 100 percent cotton number is the one I'll be stocking up on for spring. Buyers rave about its oversized fit and vertical seam down the back, which one says gives it "a nice elongated look." From its lived-in feel to its dropped shoulders, this tee is the key to looking cool without even trying. Given its roomy silhouette, though, you may want to size down for a slimmer fit.

These sporty kicks are sure to steal the show this spring and summer. I'm obsessed with the triple-stacked platform that offers up some height and cool-girl vibes, along with the textured leather upper that comes in the most striking color combinations (not limited to this pink, green and white colorway that screams "Tennis Court Barbie"). They're no doubt stylish, but are they comfy? Here's one buyer's take: "I’m a teacher, so I’m on my feet most of the day. I love how cushioned these are, and of course, the platform lifts me up a little higher! I have high arches, and the arch support is fabulous." Game, set, match.

Kate Middleton is a fan of this chic British brand, and I have a feeling you will be, too. If you're not instantly won over by this quilted jacket's hardware accents and flattering silhouette, you may get sold on its adjustable back waist tab, which secures the perfect fit, or its convenient snap-flap pockets that can carry everything you need. Then again, I wouldn't blame you if you buy this piece simply for the posh design, which will make you feel like a royal yourself.
