Alala debuted its new Superbodies collection in October 2019, expanding its offering to a size 3X. This is the first time Alala has offered plus size styles, and the introductory collection includes 12 pieces. Founded by supermodel Candice Huffine, DAY/WON is a new activewear brand focused on sustainability and inclusivity. There’s no separate plus-size landing page or alternative styles here, as every single item comes in sizes 0 through 32. While there are high-tech basics like black capris and simple (but supportive) sports bras, the real winners are the printed sets that you can mix and match as you please.

Did you know that Shape, the women’s health and fitness magazine, had its own line of workout wear? Well, now you do. And better yet, it’s been size inclusive ever since it launched back in 2016. Girlfriend Collective is pretty unique in the fact that it’s not just invested in ethical practices, transparency, sustainability or size inclusion—but it maintains a focus on all four all at once. Founder Micki Krimmel (a Los Angeles roller derby all-star, NBD) has said her goal is to make fitness more inclusive and empowering. A particularly good option for the budget-conscious athlete, Old Navy is constantly releasing new, fun seasonal colors and patterns to fit any style you prefer. Seriously, it has full-length leggings, ¾-length, capris, bike shorts and running shorts so you truly have your pick of the draw. And despite the lower price range, we can attest to Old Navy’s durability (I’ve owned a pair of the leggings for three years and can report that there have been no rips, fading or thinning out of the fabric in spots where it rubs together).
