Nicola Coughlan Just Rocked 3 Winter Trends at Once—But Her Kate Spade Bag Stole the Show

Last week, Bridgerton and Derry Girls actress Nicola Coughlan attended a Kate Spade takeover event at the iconic Exmouth Arms pub in London—dubbed The Kate Spade Arms (for the weekend). Not only did Coughlan look absolutely fabulous while hosting a festive pub quiz, but she also managed to hit three different winter trends all at once: monochrome, bows dresses and top-handled bags. Coughlan, while decked out in an all-black monochrome custom Kate Spade ensemble, carried carried a purse from the brand's 2024 holiday collection—the Deco Chain Shoulder Bag ($358)—and and luckily for me, it's still in stock.

The Deco Chain Shoulder Bag has been seen on the likes of Kristen Bell, Taraji P. Taraji P. Henson, Ella Hunt and now our favorite gossip columnist comedy queen. Coughlan styled the boxy, top-handled bag with a short-sleeved A-line shift dress, long and elegant elbow length gloves, ballet flats, sheer tights and a glittering bow-shaped headband. The angular dress complemented the structured Deco Chain Shoulder Bag nicely, creating a sharp silhouette. Each part of her ensemble had the same sparkling bows that made up her headband, including her dress, her gloves and her shoes.
