The most wonderful time of the year has arrived, and no, I’m not talking about Christmas. The Madewell Black Friday sale is here with a 30 percent discount sitewide—including new arrivals—through Nov. 27. I have it on good authority from a street style photographer that the 2010s are coming back, and one of the main features was the peacoat. (And skinny jeans and infinity scarves.) Though I personally gravitate towards longer coats, I’m a bit obsessed with this cropped peacoat with an exaggerated notched collar and welted front pockets. Just because it’s winter doesn’t mean you can’t still wear a dress. I’m loving this long-sleeved corduroy number, which is a fun take on the shirtdress with a sharp collar. I like the gentle fit-and-flare and the fact that you can dress this up or down with some tights and a pair of heeled boots. You can also play with the styling of the buttons and sleeves for a more relaxed feel.
