The Fit
No zippers, no buttons, just toss it on over your head without hassle. It has adjustable straps and the pockets are obviously a game-changer. The dress has a thick cotton-rayon hybrid construction with a thin lining underneath but feels super lightweight. I have this weird pet peeve where I'm extremely picky about clothing seams. If they're too bulky, the color is slightly off or there are an unnecessary amount of them, I won't like the garment. This dress has minimal seams and where there are, they blend into the fabric seamlessly (pun intended).
I'm usually a size six to eight in dresses, have a 34D chest and am 5'7", and I wear a size medium in this dress. It's shockingly a smidge loose, but a size smaller would've been too tight on my chest. It truly feels like a go-to summer dress you can throw on for anything from running errands to heading to dinner on a beach vacay. The dress hits my low shins, but if you're on the petite side, it will probably fit more like a full maxi.
How to Style
I'm in the French Blue shade, but am probably going to grab it in white as well considering how much I've worn it over the last few weeks. I love wearing it mainly with my crisp white, platform sneakers for a casual look and always accessorize with my cute rattan clutch for that beachy, summery look. Alternatively, when I want to dress it up, I pop on a pair of slip-on heels (the chunkier the better) and accessorize accordingly. I'm headed to the beach soon, and I'll definitely be picking up this cute sun hat and these Matisse slides to pair with it.
Overall Thoughts
I truly wish this dress is available in more colors because I would probably get one of each. It's probably one of the most well-constructed dresses I own and feel very comfortable and beautiful in it. The one downfall is that it does tend to wrinkle easily, but that's what wrinkle release spray is for. If you love a good sundress, you need to own this one for all of your summer endeavors.
