According to Abby Hepworth, fashion editor for PureWow, the return of brown—and specifically rich, chocolately browns, ties back to both quiet luxury as well as the revival of ‘90s fashion. “It’s an inherently luxurious hue, but also a neutral, so it can easily work in almost any wardrobe,” she explains. “It also looks and feels expensive, even if you’re sporting a more affordable brand.”
