Popping up in Farnham, England, for a series of engagements, Sophie looked elegant and fall-ready in a double-breasted chocolate-hued blazer from Gabriela Hearst ($2,690), which she paired beautifully with a rose-hued sweater (similar here from Sézane, $120). According to Abby Hepworth, fashion editor for PureWow, the return of brown—and specifically rich, chocolately browns, ties back to both quiet luxury as well as the revival of ‘90s fashion. “It’s an inherently luxurious hue, but also a neutral, so it can easily work in almost any wardrobe,” she explains. “It also looks and feels expensive, even if you’re sporting a more affordable brand.”
