Zara Fall 2024 UNI
Dasha Burobina for PureWow

The internet may be divided on whether fall is the best season for fashion, but I think everyone can agree on one thing: Autumn brings endless styling possibilities, with all the potential for mixing and matching layers and all. So, naturally, the pressure is on to curate the perfect wardrobe, and there's really only one place you need to shop to do so: Zara, of course! The trendy retailer has everything you need for a seasonal closet refresh, from dresses and jeans to boots and sweaters. But you'd better head over to the site soon, because Zara's best fall picks are already flying off the shelves.

But don't worry, I rounded up 16 must-have styles—from a water-repellant belted midi trench coat ($109) to a satin effect midi skirt ($46)—you can wear through rain or shine. All of which are priced at less than $140, may I add (including these heeled suede knee high boots, which are bound to have a moment this season).

When it comes to trench coats, *less* means more, at least if you want it to look totally timeless. So, while this pick has all the classic details of a trench coat—from a lapel collar, buttoned tabs and front pockets to an adjustable belt and a double-breasted button closure, it's designed to look as sleek and chic as possible, so you can just throw it on over any outfit without thinking twice. And since it's water-repellent, I have no doubt it will come in handy through the season's moodiest rainy days.

Hoping to recreate Taylor Swift's "lucky" red sweater look? If you answered yes, go ahead and add this style to your cart right now. But just in case you need a little more convincing, I'll just remind you that cherry tomato red is one of the top trending colors of fall, so this 100 percent wool knit won't just keep you cozy, but also totally on-trend. That's what I call a win-win.

If you're looking for a fall work dress that nails the office siren look but is totally HR-approved, look no further than this figure-hugging pleated midi. Everything from its round neckline and shoulder pads makes it a stylish-yet-sophisticated choice for a day at the office. Other details, like a side slit at the hem and pleats at the waist, also won't go unnoticed if you plan on hitting up a happy hour after (which you definitely should in this dress).

When in doubt, wear culotte pants is my motto, and after I tell you all about this pair, I bet it'll be yours, too. Featuring a high waist, wide legs, front pockets and subtle pleats, these pants have high potential to become your new go-tos, since they look polished enough for pretty much any occasion. Whether you're going into the office or meeting up for brunch with your besties, this style can be dressed up or down with sweaters, crop tops and endless shoes (from sneakers to heels). Not to mention, they have a cropped length, so if you're a shortie like me, don't sleep on these!

As much as we love our Artizia blazers, you should know that this Zara option (which costs a bit less) is equally, if not more, impressive. Just hear me out: It's got all the features you love, from notch lapels to front faux welt pockets. But unlike basic blazers, it has a front snap button wrap closure, giving it an asymmetrical fit when closed. And the tapering at the waist? Chef's kiss. So, if you ask me, there's no question which one you should buy.

Haven't you heard? Leopard print is in this fall, and an easy way to incorporate the trend into your wardrobe is by replacing your basic black mock-neck top with a leopard one. (IMO, the print is also a neutral.) This semi-sheer option is paw-fect (pun intended). Made of slinky tulle fabric, it should have a slightly loose and sheer fit for supreme breathability, which means it also makes for a great base layer. So, really, the fact that it's just $20 is the cherry on top.

Whoever said you had to give up flowy dresses for autumn clearly isn't hip to Zara's selection of fall frocks. But that's OK—I'm here to tell you all about it, including this chic number that's made of cotton, meaning it should have a nice weight to it but won't make you overheat (an essential for fall). Who cares that it's sleeveless? In that case, you can easily throw a cardigan or coat over it to bring the whole look together. Plus, the belt with a metal buckle isn't just for show—you can adjust it to your liking. Needless to say, the only problem you'll have with this dress is deciding which color to buy, if not all three of them.

Want some new jeans for the new season? I feel you, which is why I'm springing for this high-waisted pair that I think would look just as good paired with a blazer and heels as it would with a flannel shirt and boots. Here's why you should, too. For starters, the jeans come in the most versatile blue wash that has a little vintage flair to it. Secondly, they have a straight-leg silhouette, so you can bet they'll make you look effortlessly cool, especially since they also have an unfinished hem for some edge. Note that they're made of 100 percent cotton, so while they have little stretch, that just means they should keep you feeling snatched and supported.

This knit crop top is a hot ticket for fall, and I blame its trendy, vest-style aesthetic and front slit that shows off just a peek of skin for when you don't want to be completely covered up. The round neck is bound to look good on anyone, while the unique metallic buttons just take it to a chic new level. That said, I'm snagging it in every color as we speak.

This quilted jacket (which looks a lot like the celebrity-loved style from Free People) is bound to become your go-to this fall, not least of all due to its high neck and long sleeves that will keep you warm and toasty when it matters. And as if it couldn't get any better than that, it has an adjustable drawstring hem (so you can cinch it in or loosen it whenever you please) and roomy front pockets to slip your phone into for easy access. Need I say more?

If you buy any layer-ready tank top for autumn, make it this one that is as flattering as can be. Worried the V-neck will be too revealing? I wouldn't worry about that if I were you, especially since you can always size up or down depending on how you want it to fit (snug or loose—take your pick).

Searching for a fall wedding guest dress that's tastefully minimalist but still won't go unnoticed? Say no more—this midi has your name written all over it. Featuring flutter sleeves and a flowy skirt, it will make you look and feel elegant at any event. Meanwhile, the side self-tie details and key-hole back will secretly turn heads if that's what you're after.

You'll be saying bye-bye to slingbacks and hello to these Mary Jane heels in no time—and trust me, you'll want this faux patent leather pair at the ready. They have adjustable double buckle straps to get them to fit to your liking and a wide 1.6-inch block heel, which will be easy to walk in (even if you never wear heels). Plus, they're totally Taylor Swift-approved.

You may have tons of button-downs, but you probably don't have one as modern and cool as this pick, which comes in this striped pattern as well as a slew of gorgeous hues. I have a strong feeling Zara designed it to stand out from the pack with a satin finish and relaxed V-neck. But don't assume that this shirt is too lightweight for fall; it's easily layer-able for when temps drop, so it should have you covered in more ways than one.

If you ask PureWow Editorial Assistant (and fashion guru) Courtney Mason, a silk skirt should be a year-round staple, especially if you want to look as good as a Parisian. But there's no need to drop a bag on a real silk option when this one is likely to have the same effect, complete with beautiful draping and fluid movement. *And* it's high-waisted, so feel free to bring out your crop tops all season long (because, trust me, you'll be wearing this skirt on repeat).

It's not every day that you come across real suede knee-high boots that cost less than $150, so you can bet I'm scooping these shoes up in RN. Whether you wear them pulled straight up for a polished look, or embrace the trending boho-chic vibe by styling them slouched down, they'll serve as the ideal finishing touch on any autumnal outfit. BTW, the low 2.6-inch heel and wide shaft may even make them more comfortable than you think.
