Join the Vampire Revolution (and Eat Pizza) This Halloween Season at a Swanky NYC Hotel

Once you’re a grown-up, Halloween celebrations are usually limited to braving a crowded bar or curling up on the couch with a scary movie. But if you’re in the Manhattan area, there’s a new blood-curdling option to consider this year. Treat yourself to a ghoulish staycation instead with Vampire.Pizza at the INNSiDE by Meliá New York Nomad hotel.

Vampire.Pizza, a “dinneractive” experience, launched early on in the pandemic and took off, since it involves playing virtual games in the comfort of your own home (or in this case, a hotel room). While Vampire.Pizza’s games are usually only available in Los Angeles and Philadelphia, the undead are making their way to the Big Apple just for Halloween.

The INNSiDE by Meliá New York Nomad is hosting the “Get Tricked or Treated” experience exclusively through October 31. Hotel guests can order the Vampire.Pizza experience at the front desk. For $75, a fresh, hot pie will be delivered to their room, along with a QR code and a secret mission dossier that will give you evidence, video messages and secret clues to help you along. Think of it as a spooky virtual escape room with no timer.

The game is titled Welcome to the Vampire Revolution, and your mission is to join the force by completing Vampire Belle’s rigorous challenges. The fun doesn’t stop when you finish the game though: If you’re successful, additional prizes will be delivered straight to your room, like chocolates, wine and special discounts. The game is for one to six players and takes about an hour to complete on average.

To book a room and reserve your spot in the vampire revolution, email the hotel at reservations.innside.newyork@melia.com.
