Expertise
I tested beauty products and did loads of research on skincare, haircare, makeup and more. I often reached out to a host of experts (i.e., dermatologists, hairstylists, makeup artists) and coordinated with PureWow editors for product recommendations. I also wrote wellness, entertainment, fashion and travel content, specificlaly about trends, how-tos and more. I also spearheaded PureWow Cultures, which focused on uplifting and highlighting the BIPOC community.
Experience
I've been in the media space for a decade. Before joining PureWow, I was a native editorial intern at PS, managing their social content calendar, tracking engagement and learning about branded content. I was also an editorial intern at Mashable, Romper and Latina Magazine, where I assisted with writing pieces, researching for editors and analyzing data.
Education
Aside from receiving a bachelor's degree in journalism from SUNY New Paltz, I also have a master's degree in branding & integrated communication from City College.
