But the ultimate draw for tourists and staycationers alike remains the gawk-worthy Times Square views, many of which give you a bird’s eye look at one of the most iconic intersections in the world.

As you might imagine, accommodations at the Tempo come with even more perks during the holiday season, especially if you can snag one of the 31 rooms that feature outstanding front-row views of the glittering Times Square Ball in all its New Year’s Eve countdown glory. With windows directly overlooking the flagpole at the top of One Times Square (aka the location of the ball drop), these rooms offer the chance to have an epic NYE experience without the need to pack into the crowds fall below.

For on-site dining, the Tempo Times Square’s restaurant Highball takes creative liberty with local, NY-centric cuisine, like upscale twists on classic street vendor hot dogs and hot pretzel bites with Pickle Guy mustard.
