If there’s one person I’m always keeping an eye on at a red carpet event, it’s Zendaya. Not only is she absolutely stunning, but with the help of her longtime stylist, the legendary Law Roach, she serves up iconic looks every single time. And the 2025 Golden Globes were no exception.

The Challengers star, 28, graced the red carpet in a custom monochromatic burnt orange Louis Vuitton gown that left us all in awe. She paired the strapless dress with matching orange shoes, Bulgari jewelry and a sleek old Hollywood bob. If you were getting major Marilyn Monroe vibes, you’re definitely on the money.

Ahead of the ceremony, Law gave a little hint about the inspiration behind Zendaya’s look by posting on Instagram Stories. He shared several photos of singer, dancer, and civil rights activist Joyce Bryant, who became famous in the late ‘40s and early ‘50s and was often called “The Black Marilyn Monroe.”

In the photos, Bryant rocked strapless, fitted gowns, with one even showing her in a blue patterned dress, all of which echoed Zendaya's gown.

One slide even gave us a sneak peek into Zendaya’s look, with a close-up of her orange shoes, matching Hermes bag and a jar of fig chili spread that conveniently matched the entire aesthetic.

It was a big night for Zendaya, who had two films—Challengers and Dune: Part Two—nominated for multiple awards. She was also nominated for Best Performance by a Female Actor in a Motion Picture Musical or Comedy for her role as Tashi in Challengers.

I’m already excited to see what other looks Zendaya has in store for the rest of the award season. She’s definitely one to watch.
