Let’s be real: naps are always tempting, right? But when it comes to a Taylor Swift concert, it’s a bit of a stretch to imagine anyone dozing off—especially in the VIP section. That’s why fans were buzzing over a viral photo that seemed to show Jason Kelce, Travis Kelce's brother, catching some Z's at Taylor's Miami Eras Tour stop on October 18. But according to Jason, things aren’t quite what they seem.

On the latest episode of their New Heights podcast, the Kelce brothers tackled the rumors head-on. When Travis (aka Taylor's boyfriend) asked Jason about the photo, he quickly shot down the idea that he was napping.

“Travis, you know I didn’t take a nap. I did not take a nap,” he insisted.

Travis couldn’t resist teasing his brother, questioning how he could possibly fall asleep during such an “electric” show. Jason explained that he felt like he was “in a fishbowl” with everyone watching him, so he decided to sit down and soak in the atmosphere. He had been dancing with his daughter, Elliotte, 3, until she went to join their mom, Kylie. (Jason and Kylie also share five-year-old daughter Wyatt.)

“I’m just sitting here, feeling it, tapping my thigh, and then I go on Twitter and see this f–king picture,” he recounted. The snap was shared on X by former NFL player Beau Allen, who was also at the concert.

Jason also added that the photo actually proves he was wide awake, pointing out, “My hand is hovering. You can’t sleep with your hand hovering above your knee. It’s impossible.” He joked, “I’m not Major Payne. I can’t sleep with my eyes open, much less with my hand hovering above my knee. I was slapping my knee.”

Meanwhile, Travis, who missed the concert due to a Kansas City Chiefs game, shared his feelings on missing the show which also marked their mother, Donna Kelce's first Eras Tour appearance.

“I had all the FOMO in the world, with the entire family and a lot of our friends being there,” he said. “...They were saying the same thing that you're saying. The Miami Stadium was just on another level. Incredible. I wish I was there.”
