Travis Kelce Has Some *Thoughts* About Blake Lively's 'Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants'

"It was impressive"

When Travis Kelce isn't playing football, hosting a game show or coordinating outfits with his girlfriend Taylor Swift, he's joining his brother Jason Kelce in their podcast called New Heights. The latest episode aired on October 17, where they reviewed a film that may seem rather familiar to some of us (me included): The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants.

Although Swift is besties with Blake Lively, the brothers didn't hold back on poking fun at her 2005 movie. Jason had a few questions surrounding Lively's character, Bridget Vreeland, and her athletic abilities: "A lot of the movie is just Bridget running. I gotta admit, not the best run. Blake, I love you, it does not strike me as a star athlete run."

But leave it to the Kansas City Chiefs tight end to praise the 37-year-old star: "But it was impressive. She has good endurance, though, because running like that and to be talking? I would be f---ing gassed and would be way worst at trying to spit my lines out if I was running while talking."

Before moving on, Jason had one more hilarious comment. "I agree, very impressive. She runs so far she ends up in a soccer camp in Mexico."

Now, the brothers did enjoy the coming-of-age movie, but didn't quite get the pants inclusion and wanted it to have a bigger role. "The pants didn't really have much to do with the plot. I'm a little bit upset that the pants were in the storyline," said Jason. Meanwhile, Travis was trying to make sense of it all. "They were tied into the adventures of everyone. That's what really tied all the stories together."

I, along with Jason's wife Kylie, did a major face palm. As Jason shares, "I didn't feel like they did a damn thing. I was just like 'Listen you don't need the pants.' It was kind of just a reason for them to be in a club even though they've been friends. But Kylie's like, 'You idiot. It's a symbol that their friends are always with them.'" Uh yeah.

On October 12, Travis and Taylor had a double date with Blake and Ryan Reynolds, so I wonder if the 35-year-old prepared her for the upcoming episode. It at least had me cracking up and ready to pop on the film again to watch them all try on the 'stretchy jeans.'

Surprisingly, Travis mentioned this was a fan pick, so curious to see if the brothers review a Swift film next. Valentine's Day, anyone?
