Ryan Seacrest Flaunts Hidden Talent on Instagram and Now Fans Think He Should Get a New Show

At this point, we've become quite used to seeing Ryan Seacrest in the role of host. From his gigs on shows like American Idol to his position on Live with Kelly and Ryan, the 47-year-old entertainer knows how to emcee. However, it turns out that Seacrest is also secretly quite the talented cook, and after showing off some of his latest creations in the kitchen, a few fans proposed that he should have his own cooking show.

Seacrest offered a peek into his cooking process last week, when he made a post that said, “This weekend’s buffet,” and included photos of himself in the kitchen, standing next to dishes he prepared, which included a marinated chicken, a revamped eggplant parmesan and more.

“When I cook, I tend not to follow measurements” Seacrest wrote. “Instead, I work off a picture for inspiration and use my gut & palette to determine how the dish turns out (which means plenty of garlic and olive oil in just about everything).”

He went into further detail adding, “On the table we have a whole chicken marinated overnight in olive oil, lemon, and rosemary. I baked it and then finished it off on the grill. Then a pan of thinly sliced eggplant in a tomato sauce, with Ezekiel bread crumbs for crunch; it was all the flavors of an eggplant parmigiana without the cheese. Then at the end, we have a fresh local striped bass in white wine, with lemon, garlic, and capers.”

However, that wasn't all. He also prepared a salmon (which is seen in the last two slides), and he said, “I also wanted to do a simple tasty salmon this weekend. This one had parsley, garlic, and olive oil. I wrapped it in foil and cooked it on the grill. I had it with a kale salad topped with a tahini garlic lemon dressing. I toss it and then put in the freezer for about 10 minutes so it’s served cold. Had it all with a side of black beans mixed with purple onion, cilantro, chopped green & yellow peppers, touch of sea salt, and olive oil. #food #yum #foodie #eats #delicious.”

While those pictures made our mouths water, it seems we weren't the only ones who were impressed by Seacrest's cooking talents. One user commented, “Gorgeous spread. Thanks for this inspiration, Ryan!!!” Another called it “impressive.” Meanwhile, one fan thought the Live co-host should have his own cooking show, writing, “When is your cooking show.” A different user agreed, adding, “Great Ryan! I see a ‘Cook with Ryan’ show in your future.”

Seacrest has seemingly been very inspired with his cooking this summer, because he shared another post only a few days later, where he was seen standing at an oyster stand and wrote, “It’s not the Seacrest family favorite: oyster casserole, but it’ll do! Happy #NationalOysterDay.”

If we can't get a cooking show, we would at least love a cookbook with some of those special Seacrest family recipes. We'll be keeping our fingers crossed.
