It’s not every day we get a peek into Rihanna’s personal life—especially when it comes to her relationship with A$AP Rocky and their two kids, RZA, 2, and Riot, 1. So, when the pop icon recently opened up about life as a mom of two, fans were all ears.
The 35-year-old superstar shared some sweet (and real) details about her sons and how big brother RZA is adjusting to having a little sibling in a recent interview with Access. Spoiler: It’s not all smooth sailing.
“It’s rough,” Rihanna admitted. “The second his baby brother cries, he’s there, running, crying too and worried. He loves him.”
But of course, like any toddler, RZA’s learning to share. “It’s just hard to share toys and pacifiers,” she added.
Even with the occasional sibling squabble, the Fenty Beauty queen is fully embracing motherhood.
“It’s fun. I literally enjoy it so much. I’m just looking at them, living through them,” Rihanna gushed. “I’m amazed by every new discovery of theirs. Even their boundaries. They’re teaching me how to be their mom as much as I’m teaching them how to be in this world.”
Rihanna and A$AP Rocky, who welcomed their first son, RZA, in May 2022 (months after that iconic baby bump debut in snowy Harlem), expanded their family when they welcomed baby Riot Rose after a surprise pregnancy reveal at the 2023 Super Bowl Halftime Show. Now, the duo is soaking in life as a family of four.
But are they thinking about adding more little ones to the mix? Rihanna didn’t rule it out. In April she told Interview that she's willing to have “as many as God wants me to have.”
“I’d go for more than two. I’d try for my girl. But if it’s another boy, it’s another boy.”
