Reese Witherspoon's Daughter Ava Phillippe Welcomes New Addition to the Family

Ava Phillippe just shared a sweet family update, and it comes with an adorable twist. The 25-year-old daughter of Reese Witherspoon and Ryan Phillippe introduced her newest family member on Instagram this week: a rescue pup named Birdie.

Ava shared a carousel of photos and videos on social media introducing her one million followers to Birdie, a playful little pup with piercing blue eyes and an underbite that only adds to her charm.

“This is Birdie. She has blue eyes (for now?), a fantastic underbite, and the spunkiest personality," she captioned the post. "Thanks to @wagsandwalks LA, she has finally made her way home—to Benji & me!”

Ava even invited fans to take a guess at Birdie’s mix of breeds in the comments as she waits for the DNA test results. And, it didn’t take long for the love to pour in.

"Well…what we know thus far is that she is 100% pure bred good girl," one person quipped. Ava’s cousin, Abby James Witherspoon, excitedly commented, “Ummmmm I HAVE to meet her!!” Meanwhile, TikTok personality Dylan Mulvaney was ready for some puppy snuggles, writing, “When can auntie dyl visit?” Fans were equally thrilled, with one follower saying, “OMG Ava, you did it!
