Princess Eugenie is taking a trip down memory lane, all in the name of a good cause: to raise awareness for Ocean’s Day.

The 34-year-old royal took to social media on Thursday, June 6 to first, pose a question to her 1.8 million followers.

“Did you know that it’s Ocean’s Day on Saturday?” she asked in an Instagram Stories poll. Set to a picture of a whale flipping its tail in the water with tall icebergs in the background, the poll only had two options: “Yes” and “I do now!”

In the next Story she shared a rare throwback picture of herself as a child wearing a turquoise swimsuit and a matching colored hat. In the pic, the royal is grinning from ear to ear as she crouches down in the sand, complete with a yellow bucket in hand.

“I LOVE the ocean now but I was actually scared of it as a child,” the Duchess of York admitted.

Following the revelation, Princess Eugenie urged her followers to check out the Blue Marine Foundation, a charity organization “dedicated to restoring the ocean to heath,” according to its website.

Princess Eugenie isn’t just sharing photos of herself as a child these days, she’s also been giving onlookers a peek at her own little ones too.

Earlier this year, the mom-of-two shared a never-before-seen photo of her son now 1-year-old son Ernest to commemorate her birthday.

“The best gift of all are my boys..so on this birthday I'm cherishing family and loved ones [red heart emojis],” she wrote.

Princess Eugenie also shares son August Philip Hawke Brooksbank, 3, with her husband Jack Brooksbank, and celebrated the toddler’s birthday back in February with an equally as adorable sweet post.

Alongside a carousel of candids showcasing her behind-the-scenes family life, she wrote, "Happy 3rd Birthday to our dearest Augie. Forever a force of nature and forever giggling with you."

Here’s to keeping the oceans clean for everyone to enjoy, whether we are afraid of them or not.
