We're all ears

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are using their platform to inspire some serious pre-Election Day vibes in the U.S.

Their Archewell Foundation just dropped a statement on their website about how the team came together "for a meaningful volunteer activity to support and empower our communities." So, what were they up to? They were writing letters encouraging unregistered voters to register to vote with the help of Vote Forward's letter-writing tool.

The statement, shared on Tuesday, September 17 (aka National Voter Registration Day), read, "Voting is not just a right; it’s a fundamental way to influence the fate of our communities."

The Foundation continued noting that "civic engagement" is key to building a more just and equitable world, "no matter one's political party." And they’re hoping their efforts will encourage others to get involved too.

"By participating in initiatives like this, we aim to amplify the message that every voice matters," the statement continued and even shared links to Vote Forward and Vote.gov for anyone looking to follow their lead.

Pictures from the volunteer activity were also shared and although Harry, 40, and Markle, 43, weren’t pictured in the snaps, this isn’t their first rodeo. They were just as vocal about voting back in 2020 when they appeared in a video as part of the unveiling of the Time 100 list of most influential people, encouraging people to register and make their voices heard.

But it's not all civic duty talk for the Sussexes.

Recently, Prince Harry and Markle have opened up about another rare subject—their kids. Prince Harry, who turned 40 on September 15, shared with People that the best gifts he’s ever received are hands-down his children, Prince Archie, 5, and Princess Lilibet, 3. "I enjoy watching them grow every single day and love being their dad," he said.

Markle also got candid about their little ones during a trip to Colombia in August.

Looks like it’s been a busy season of both parenting and making an impact.
