Not today, haters

Millie Bobby Brown is kicking off 2025 with major "not today, haters" energy.

Just before the new year, the Stranger Things star, 20, posted a mirror selfie on social media, rocking a sleeveless cream and maroon floral dress, paired with a Louis Vuitton purse. Her hair was styled in loose waves and she was giving a playful pout with the caption, “Me and my mini,” tagging Louis Vuitton. Seems like an innocent post, right? Well, some people weren’t feeling it, with one person even claiming she “looked 35” and another accusing her of Googling “how to look 65 when you are 16.”

But Brown wasn’t about to let that slide. Her response? According to Page Six, she posted on her Instagram story, “women grow!! not sorry about it :),” clapping back with some classic confidence.

And, of course, fans had Brown's back too. One person wrote, "She does not look 35 y'all just mean as hell," while another added, "Why are y’all hating? She literally looks the same."

A third person commented, “Why tf do people have a problem with this photo? Millie looks beautiful in it, and seriously, just because she started her career as a child doesn’t mean she’ll always stay the same. Now she’s a beautiful woman, and you shouldn’t hate on her for something she has no control over. Time can’t be turned back, and now she’s happy, so let her enjoy it.”

The Enola Holmes star clearly wasn’t sweating the negativity. Just a day later, she posted a 2024 recap video montage with the caption, “the year of mrs. biongiovi.” Yes, in case you forgot, Brown got married to Jake Bongiovi (son of the legendary Jon Bon Jovi), 22, in an unforgettable Italian wedding, complete with two gorgeous bridal looks.

Keep thriving, Millie. You’ve got this.
