Kelly Ripa Reveals Her Immense Love of ‘The Office’ on Instagram 

Kelly Ripa might keep a World's Best Boss mug in her kitchen, because it turns out the talk show host is secretly a big fan of the hit comedy series The Office.

In a new video that she posted to her Instagram Story, the Live with Kelly and Ryan co-host was watching an episode of the sitcom, and she posted one of the scenes to her account. “The Office gives and gives,” she wrote at the top of the video. She also added a sticker that said, “Sound on,” because she didn't want viewers to miss out on the dialogue in the scene.

In this particular snippet from the show, Angela (Angela Kinsey) and Dwight (Rainn Wilson) are discussing the potential of their romantic relationship becoming public, and Dwight tries to soothe his partner.

“It's gonna be okay,” Dwight says. “How is it gonna be okay, Dwight?” Angela asks. “Everyone will know our business.” To which Dwight responds, “That's not the worst thing in the world. I'll just stand up in front of the office and reveal our true love. It won't be that bad—look at Kelly and Ryan.”

Kelly is played by Mindy Kaling, while Ryan is played by B.J. Novak, and they have a very on-again, off-again relationship throughout the series. So, after Dwight says this, Angela comes back with one of her typical biting remarks: “I hate those two people more than anything in the entire world.”

We had no idea that the Live Wire author was such a big Office stan, but it makes sense, given that the talk show host always has her finger on the pulse of pop culture.

Just take the annual Live Halloween event that occurs each year, where Ripa and Ryan Seacrest each pull out an impressive number of costumes based on their favorite shows and movies from the year. In 2022, the pair dressed up as Margot Robbie and Ryan Gosling from the movie Barbie, Marvel superheroes and more.
