Kelly Ripa and Mark Consuelos might be empty nesters, but they weren’t the only ones in the Consuelos home who dressed up for Halloween this year. The couple’s dogs, Lena and Chewie, also sported costumes for the spooky holiday.
On Sunday, the Live with Kelly and Ryan co-host shared a snap of her furry friends dressed as piñatas on her personal Instagram account. “Happy Halloween from Trick and Treat,” she captioned the post. See the sweet image below.
If you’re not familiar with these two pups, Chewie has been in the Consuelos/Ripa family for a while, and the mother of three revealed in March that the family decided to adopt Lena (a Maltese/Shih Tzu mix). Since then, both dogs have frequently appeared on Ripa’s and Consuelos’s social media pages. Last week, they were even featured on an episode of the hit morning show.
As we mentioned above, the All My Children alum and the Riverdale star also celebrated Halloween with a couple’s costume of their own. The pair decided to take it back to the 20th century, which Ripa explained in a post on IG, saying, “Mom and Dad just returned from the #1940s to remind you to tune in today for #LiveHalloween. It’s Out Of This World.” (It’s also worth noting that Ripa rocked over five different ensembles for Friday’s Live Halloween special.)
Maybe next year we can get a group costume from these four.
