Céline Dion’s heart is definitely still going on for Kelly Clarkson, and I'm here for it.

On Tuesday, October 8, the Canadian music legend, 56, hopped on social media to post a super emotional video with a heartfelt message for Clarkson, 42. Why? Because Kelly just covered Dion’s iconic Titanic anthem, “My Heart Will Go On,” on a recent episode of The Kelly Clarkson Show—and Dion was seriously moved by the performance.

“I just saw you singing ‘My Heart Will Go On,’ and I’m crying again,” Dion said in the clip, fighting back tears. “You were absolutely incredible, fantastic. I loved it so much.”

Dion started the post by mentioning how she had seen Clarkson’s reaction to her own comeback performance at the opening ceremony for the 2024 Paris Olympics this past July. (Yes, that performance, where she sang Edith Piaf’s "Hymne A L'Amour" and left many speechless.) This was a big deal for Dion, as it was her first major performance since revealing her stiff-person syndrome diagnosis in 2022.

Clarkson’s reaction was pure awe. “I actually can’t talk,” she said after watching Dion perform on the Eiffel Tower. “If you know anything about Céline right now, this is her purpose… That she got through that, that was incredible. And in my field, she is the gold winner for vocal athletes.”

So, Kelly freaked out over Céline. Then, Céline freaked out over Kelly. And now I'm freaking out over both of them. (Am I sensing a pattern here?)

Clarkson followed up with a post of her own where she gushed over the Canadian singer's recent video and got all nostalgic about her American Idol days (a whole 22 years ago!) when she had to sing Dion’s “I Surrender All” while sick with laryngitis.

“@celinedion you have no idea how much you even noticing my existence means to me," Clarkson captioned the post. "Thank you so much for being such an amazing example of true passion and being one of the greatest vocalists of all time that I am still, to this day, inspired by [red heart emoji].”

And it wasn’t just the two singers feeling the love. Fans in the comments were having a full-on meltdown over this pop diva lovefest.

“I AM EMOTIONAL. Queen Celine is so kind and appreciative when someone covers her music. Absolutely lovely to hear her even speak. Only Kelly can sing her songs so beautifully,” one fan gushed.

Another wrote, “Imagine getting this type of compliment from the queen herself," while a third added, “Love how giddy she is over Celine saying her name!! Kelly still fangirling after 22 years in the business is adorable!!”

And I'm totally on board with this recommendation from a fan who demanded, “WE NEED A DUET!!!!!!!!”

Good news: Clarkson has officially invited Dion to The Kelly Clarkson Show, so…maybe we’ll be getting that epic duet after all?
