But that wasn’t the only throwback the Palace gave us. They also included a snap from over a decade ago, showing Princess Catherine looking effortlessly chic in a sophisticated white, boat-neck dress that was totally timeless.

The timing of these throwbacks isn’t random, either. Buckingham Palace posted them in the spirit of King Charles’s recent solo outing to the Gladiator II premiere at Leicester Square Odeon. To mark the event, the Palace account shared a few fun trivia questions about royal family members’ red-carpet movie premiere moments over the years (and we got a little extra Princess of Wales content as a result).

It’s been a big season of comebacks for Princess Catherine. After facing some serious health challenges, including emergency abdominal surgery and a cancer diagnosis earlier this year, she recently announced she’s completed her chemotherapy and is officially back to work.

And, as if we needed more proof of her resilience, she’s also reviving her annual Christmas Carol concert. I can’t wait to see her bring that same glamour (and maybe a touch of holiday sparkle?) to the festivities this December.
