Filming a massive period drama like Bridgerton is surely no easy feat, but imagine filming not one, not two, but three different projects all at the same time. Well, that’s exactly what Jonathan Bailey did and he jokingly admits he’s got a bit of “residual trauma” from trying to do it all.
In a new interview for Variety’s “Actors on Actors” series, the 36-year-old actor chatted with Naomi Watts and shared his experience simultaneously filming Netflix’s Bridgerton, the upcoming musical movie Wicked and the drama Fellow Travelers.
When Watts asked Bailey to confirm that he worked on the three projects at the same time, his voice cracked as he answered, “That is true. Did you hear? My voice just broke.”
Watts quipped, “Yeah, because you have PTSD?”
