Blake Lively’s ‘Family Portrait’ Proves She and Ryan Reynolds Are Hollywood's Cutest Power Couple

Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds are basically cinema royalty at this point—and Lively just proved that with her latest social media post.

The 36-year-old actress dropped a super cute "family portrait" on Instagram Stories Wednesday, July 17, showing off the power couple’s latest movie magic. The post featured Lively on a movie poster for her upcoming romance flick It Ends With Us, positioned right next to a poster for Reynolds's Deadpool & Wolverine. Both movies are gearing up for a summer release, and it looks like Blake’s face is perfectly angled to gaze lovingly at Ryan’s poster.

“Family portrait,” Lively wrote on the photo.

Lively credited It Ends With Us author Colleen Hoover for capturing the photo and tagged both movies.

Lively has been all about supporting her hubby's new movie lately, hyping him up on social and even sporting the actual Deadpool & Wolverine friendship heart necklaces seen in the promotional poster for the upcoming superhero film.

The Age of Adeline star also gave her followers a sneak peek at what appears to be some new Deadpool & Wolverine-inspired jewelry designs by Lorraine Schwartz. And she made a cheeky nod to her latest Betty Buzz sparkling mocktails release, pointing out the matching red and yellow vibes.

“My camera roll has a real palette going these days,” she joked, tagging Schwartz, Reynolds and his co-star Hugh Jackman. “You like what you like.”

It Ends With Us isn’t the only film fans have to look forward to from Lively. Her 2018 film, A Simple Favor, which also starred Anna Kendrick, has a sequel due very soon. It was confirmed in 2022 that the second installment of the thriller comedy was happening filming was set to begin in the fall of 2023.

Based on Darcey Bell's 2017 novel of the same name, A Simple Favor stars Lively as Emily, a bold and glamorous mom, and Kendrick as Stephanie, a sweet and shy single mom who runs a mommy blog. Their unlikely friendship takes a dark turn when Emily suddenly vanishes. Stephanie, determined to uncover the truth, starts digging and uncovers some seriously jaw-dropping secrets.

Although not many updates have been given on when fans can expect the sequel, luckily the first film is available to stream on Netflix now. And if you want to hit the theaters, Deadpool & Wolverine drops on July 26, and It Ends With Us follows on August 9.
