Now that Wicked Part One is out, Ariana Grande fans are asking the big question: when is she going on tour? She released her seventh studio album, Eternal Sunshine, in March, and since then, fans have been eagerly waiting to see her perform live. There were even rumors that the "we can't be friends" singer was planning a 2025 tour, but her label quickly shut that down.

In a statement, Universal confirmed, "There are no plans for a tour next year, but Ariana remains deeply appreciative of her fans and all the continued love, support and excitement."

So, what’s next for Grande’s music career? It looks like fans will have to wait a little longer to see her perform live.

“I feel so grateful to the acting, and I think my fans know that music and being on stage will always be a part of my life, but I don’t see it coming anytime soon,” Grande told Variety.

Don’t worry, music isn’t off the table forever, though it seems she's eyeing a major career shift.

“I think the next few years, hopefully we’ll be exploring different forms of art, and I think acting is feeling like home right now,” she added. “I’m so grateful for the ways in which we’ve grown together over this whole journey with Wicked. But music will always be a part of my life.”

It makes sense when you consider that acting is where Grande started her career—first in the Broadway musical 13 as a child, then on Nickelodeon’s Victorious and its spin-off Sam & Cat. Now, she’s starring as Glinda in Wicked and its sequel, set for release in November 21, 2025.

So while music is temporarily on the backburner and Grande embraces her acting roots, fans can rest easy knowing that music will always be a part of her journey.
