Whether you work from home or sit in an office all day, it's tough to get your steps in (if you're aiming for 10,000, like I am). Sliding a walking pad under your desk is a great way to get active during your work day without interrupting your productivity (if anything, it actually helps, in my experience). That's why I had to share the news about this Sperax Walking Pad sale. It's now $130 off during Amazon Prime Day 2024, and ICYMI, the massive annual sale event is happening now and lasts through tomorrow night, so now's your chance to upgrade your desk.

Sperax

With a whopping 3,460 five-star reviews, this is the top-rated walking pad on Amazon. "Despite the lack of handlebars, the wide walking platform provides a stable base that feels secure even while walking at a brisk pace," one reviewer notes. The Sperax Walking Pad can hold up to 320 pounds and has a quiet motor so you won't feel like it's disrupting your work. There are wheels on the bottom, too, so you can easily lift it up and wheel it out of the way if you are ready to sit or just store it at the end of the day. I have a similar walking pad that has the same height, and I can slide it under my bed or between my dresser and the wall after using it for the day so it doesn't have to sit out on the floor. It weighs 40 pounds, and while that isn't necessarily lightweight, it's easy enough to partially lift and wheel where you need it to go by yourself.

Note that the listed original price on Amazon seems to be a glitch—it doesn't retail for $2,000; it is usually priced at $300. Still, this is a solid deal, considering the treadmill pad goes up to 3.8 MPH and the speed is adjustable with the included remote control. You'll also be able to see your distance, time in use and approximate calories burned on the LED screen at the top of the tread. The belt is made of rubber and intended to be non-slip, but it comes with a lubricant so you can properly care for it when necessary.

Before you know it, you'll be adding thousands of steps to your daily count without even having to leave the comfort of your home. Who needs a gym membership anyways?
