Best of all, the prices are very budget-friendly, and the restaurant does local delivery, so you don’t even have to venture out for your late-night fix if you live in the area. (Not sure what to order? Try the tres leches cake and tostadas.)

This Park Slope diner serves homemade donuts (as the name suggests), along with a very extensive menu of standard diner fare. There are more healthy options here than you would find at the average diner, and the restaurant prides itself on its Mediterranean dishes. I must confess I’ve only ever had the burger, but it does hit the spot at the end of a long night.

Last but certainly not least, you’ve likely seen this iconic Williamsburg diner adjacent to the L train Lorimer stop in a movie or TV show, or even just on a stroll through the neighborhood, and it’s one of the best 24-hour restaurants in NYC. Since 1928 (nearly a century!), this Greek-American diner has been serving up all of the classic favorites, from Belgian waffles and burgers to frittatas and broiled fish. But they also offer some inspired riffs on the traditional, like the fried French toast shown above.
