We’re Calling It Now: Taylor Swift’s NYE Hair Accessory Will Be One of 2024’s Biggest Trends

Lately we’ve found ourselves lusting after just about everything Taylor Swift wears, from statement-making red teddy coats to comfy New Balance sneakers and even a pair of Kate Middleton-approved boots. And now we’re adding yet another item to our Swift-inspired shopping list—a set of sparkling, celestial hair pins the 34-year-old singer wore on New Year’s Eve. Even better, we tracked down her exact set—Jennifer Behr Supernova set ($425)—plus multiple lookalikes for the Swiftie on a budget.

After videos of Swift and her beaux Travis Kelce celebrating NYE were posted on Instagram, eagle-eyed fans were able to ID both her glittering minidress and the moon and star hair pins dotting her chic updo.

As we mentioned, the delicate bobby pins are Jennifer Behr’s Supernova set ($425), which comes with six dainty crystal dot pins, five star pins and one crescent moon-shaped pin you can play around with to create your own unique Folklore-inspired star-scape. And her dress is a sequin-and-crystal covered, backless mini by Clio Peppiatt ($2,007).

As it turns out, Swift has actually worn both of these brands before. She sported a black celestial-print dress by Clio Peppiatt ($2,335) for her birthday celebrations in December, and donned a Jennifer Behr bow clip ($148) and set of bejeweled hair pins ($298) while celebrating Christmas 2023.

And while we’re not sure how much wear we’d actually get out of a sequin minidress, we do feel confident that hair bows and other bold hair accessories will be a pretty major trend in the coming months.
