Katie Holmes Wore an Electric Green Top and Minuscule Kitten Heels for the Cannes Film Festival

Katie Holmes, 44, is one of the many stars who jetted off to Cannes this past week, where she sat down for the Kering Women in Motion Talk as part of the film festival proceedings. While there, Holmes was channeling Nancy Meyers in a light, coastal-inspired 'fit.

For the event, the Alone Together director sported an electric green (dare we say, Nickelodeon slime-colored?) t-shirt underneath a pale yellow zip-up. Keeping the color palette light, Holmes added a pair of cream, wide-leg cargo pants. The entire ensemble was styled by Brie Welch.

To round out the 'fit, Holmes added a pair of shoes that caught the attention of many fashion followers (even Vogue). These metallic blue shoes with knotted fabric looked like flat sandals upon first glance, but they were actually super—and we mean super—tiny kitten heels.

You can purchase a pair of these heels (in black) from Harrods for $459, or you can get a pair of flat sandals (that look practically identical) in the same blue color for $426 here.

Ever since she left the fictional town of Capeside, Massachusetts, Holmes has continued to embrace the coastal aesthetic of her hit show Dawson's Creek.

Last summer, the Logan Lucky star attended the Tribeca Film Festival with her beau, Bobby Wooten III, on her arm. For the event, Holmes chose a cream-colored crochet dress from Chloé's Pre-Fall 2022 Collection. She paired the peek-a-boo design with a tan leather clutch—also courtesy of Chloé—and black, square-toed shoes.

Only a few months later, she wore another boho, knitted design to Paris Fashion Week.

Forget neutrals and flats. Katie has decreed summer 2023 is the season of bright green and teeny heels.
