Now that Fixer Upper is officially over, we may or may not be going through Joanna Gaines withdrawal. So in addition to bingeing reruns, we’ve decided get our Jo fix by browsing some of her best looks, which are always super easy and casually chic. Here, five that you can (and should) copy.
5 Joanna Gaines Outfits That Are So Easy to Copy
Sleeveless Sundress + Sandals
Aaand looks like we’ve found our go-to summer look. Casual without being sloppy, the relative shapelessness of the dress is perfectly balanced by its shorter hemline, while the tan sandals provide the perfect subtle base.
Get the look: Tommy Bahama dress ($135); Sam Edelman sandals ($80)
T-shirt + Jeans + Moto Jacket
You know those outfits that are beyond easy to put together but actually look good? This is one of those. Jeans and a T-shirt can be a little dull by themselves, but add a cool jacket and coordinating ankle booties and you’ve got yourself a ensemble you can wear again and again (and again).
Get the look: Everlane t-shirt ($15); Levi's jeans ($98); Cole Haan jacket ($249)
Patterned Dress + Riding Boots
If the sundress-flats combo from earlier is our ideal summer look, this is its fall equivalent. You want to look a little more put-together than you would in jeans and a tee but not as fancy as you would in a dress and heels, making a dress with flat boots the perfect meet-in-the-middle compromise.
Get the look: Draper James dress ($98); Frye boots ($200)
Maxi Dress + Jean Jacket
Our jean jacket is one of the most-worn pieces in our wardrobe, and apparently Jo’s on the same page. The beauty of a denim topper is that it adds an element of understated cool to anything it’s paired with, from jeans (hey, Canadian tuxedo) to a colorful maxi.
Get the look: Lush dress ($39); Madewell jacket ($118)
Sheer Blouse + Jeans
Just because her job is hands-on (to say the least) doesn’t mean Joanna’s whiling away the days in sweatpants and T-shirts. She wears jeans, sure, but she dresses them up with pretty blouses that elevate the whole vibe of her outfits. Business on the top, shiplap installation-friendly on the bottom.
Get the look: Equipment blouse ($198); AG jeans ($215)
