Mandy Moore Says She ‘Threw Up After Reading’ Yesterday’s ‘This Is Us’ Script

*Warning: Spoilers ahead*

Viewers are experiencing a wide range of emotions after last night’s episode of This Is Us, where the Big Three say goodbye to the Pearson family’s matriarch, Rebecca (Mandy Moore). Luckily, the 38-year-old actress is sharing details about her reaction to the penultimate installment, and it sounds very familiar.

Here’s what you need to know: This Is Us aired a brand-new episode this week, documenting Rebecca’s final hours. It all starts when her nurse tells Kevin (Justin Hartley) and Randall (Sterling K. Brown) that it’s only a matter of time before Rebecca passes on, recommending they say their last goodbyes.

As each family member speaks to Rebecca, she’s imagining a dream land where she’s being led through a train by William (Ron Cephas Jones). In each car, she encounters a different person paying respect. (In reality, they’re sitting at her bedside.) Her journey ends in the caboose, where she’s reunited with Jack (Milo Ventimiglia).

During an interview with Entertainment Weekly, Moore revealed that she felt sick to her stomach after reading the script for the first time. “It’s why I threw up after reading it. I couldn’t breathe,” she said. “I remember seeing Chrissy [Metz] the next day at work and she had not the same reaction—she didn't get sick—but it was one of those experiences where you’re so overcome that your sinuses are completely blocked. You can’t catch your breath, really.”

The actress also shared a slideshow of photos and videos on Instagram (see above), featuring a sneak peek of her BTS experience. The caption read, “‘If something makes you sad when it ends, it must have been pretty wonderful when it was happening’…and with that, one last car. The caboose.”

*Sniff, sniff* Is that an Emmy Award we smell?
