This Nicole Kidman Thriller Just Hit Netflix’s Top 10 List—and It Looks So Intense

We couldn't get enough of Nicole Kidman on Big Little Lies or in Bombshell, and now, it looks like she has another tense drama that somehow slipped under our radar.

Netflix uploaded Kidman's 2005 flick The Interpreter, where she plays Silvia Broome, a language interpreter at the United Nations in New York City. In the movie, Broome claims that she has overheard an assassination plot, except those around her begin to wonder if they can trust her. Meanwhile, she sets in action a series of dangerous events that could end up costing some lives.

Oh, and this thriller just climbed into the top 10 most-watched movies list on Netflix. Check out the trailer below.

Throughout the movie, Broome is watched over by Sean Penn, who plays a Secret Service agent named Tobin Keller. In the clip, Keller says to Broome, “Of all the people that I've looked into since this thing started, the one with the darkest history is you.”

It looks The Interpreter is going to offer some *serious* suspense, just based on the trailer alone, which featured home invasions, bus explosions and shootings.

Along with A-list stars Kidman and Penn, the movie features Catherine Keener (The 40-Year-Old Virgin), Jesper Christensen (Casino Royale), Yvan Attal (Rush Hour 3), Earl Cameron (Thunderball), Curtiss Cook (House of Cards), George Harris (Black Hawk Down) and Michael Wright (Oz).

The Interpreter was directed by Sydney Pollock, who won the Academy Award for Best Director for his work on Out of Africa. The screenplay was written by Charles Randolph (The Big Short), Scott Frank (Logan) and Steven Zaillian (Schindler's List).

We'll definitely be adding this one to our must-watch list.
