Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have many titles, ranging from dad/mom and husband/wife to the Duke/Duchess of Sussex. Now, the royal couple can add “documentary filmmakers” to their extensive resumes.

Netflix just released the first official trailer for its upcoming sports documentary, Polo, which was executive produced by the royal couple (along with Archewell Productions).

Polo offers a rare behind-the-scenes glimpse at the intense world of professional polo. A voiceover says in the clip, “Imagine going on a horse at 35 miles an hour with someone coming at you full speed.” Another adds, “The adrenaline that goes through your body, it’s addicting.”

The five-part series follows the athletes as they prepare to compete in the U.S. Open Polo Championship in Wellington, Florida. It highlights how polo is a lifestyle (not a sport) that affects the entire family. The voiceover says, “I’ve put more at stake this season than I ever have in the past.”

I first reported on Polo back in April when the royal couple attended a polo match in Wellington. At the time, Prince Harry and Markle didn’t reveal why they traveled to Florida. However, many believed that they were secretly filming with Netflix.

The rumors were confirmed a few months later when Netflix teased a first look at the upcoming docuseries by sharing four images and a brief synopsis.

Prince Harry and Markle’s partnership with Netflix shouldn’t come as a huge surprise because they previously teamed up with the streaming service to produce two new projects. One is the polo documentary (duh) and the other is a cooking show starring the Duchess of Sussex.

Let the countdown to December 10 begin.
