Netflix knows a thing or two about saving shows. I mean, without them, we wouldn't have seen the return of hits like Manifest or Lucifer. Now, after years of bringing back shows that were adored by viewers, they just did so with one of their *own* original reality shows, Next in Fashion.

Yep, that's right—Netflix canceled this series back in 2020, but now they've brought it back for a second season, and it seems they made the right decision. Only two days after season 2 was released, Next in Fashion has currently made its way into the streaming site's list of most-watched shows.

Next in Fashion follows a group of designers who are competing to win $250,000 and the chance to debut a collection of their clothing on the luxury retailer Net-a-Porter. The first season was hosted by Queer Eye's Tan France and model/TV personality Alexa Chung. For season 2, France has returned and he is now joined by co-host Gigi Hadid.

The 10-episode first season of Next in Fashion premiered in January 2020. However, in June of that year, Variety reported that Netflix had canceled the competition series.

But then, two years later, it appeared that Netflix had a change of heart. While the official Next in Fashion Instagram account had remained dormant during that time, there was suddenly a new post in January 2022 that showed France and Hadid and read, “SOME NEWS: these two besties are hosting Next In Fashion Season 2! Casting is now open at netflixreality.com/NIF.”

Now, we can give our thanks to the fashion gods, because Next in Fashion is back with 10 new episodes and plenty more showstopping looks (oh, and a few exciting guest judges along the way too).
