My Life with the Walter Boys fans, get excited—season two is officially on the way.

The Netflix teen drama, based on the book of the same name, first hit screens in December 2023 and quickly earned a green light for another season. With its The Summer I Turned Pretty vibes (hello, brother love triangle), it’s no wonder the 10-episode show became a fan favorite—the show once hit number one on Netflix’s Global English Top 10 TV list and the series reached the Top 10 in 88 countries.

As a quick refresher: season one introduced us to 15-year-old Manhattanite Jackie Howard, who moves from her privileged life in New York to rural Colorado after losing her family in a tragic accident. Her new home? The lively, chaotic household of her late mom’s best friend, Katherine, and Katherine’s husband, George—who happen to be raising ten kids, most of them boys.

So, what’s next for Jackie? While we don’t have all the answers yet, here’s what we know so far about season two of My Life with the Walter Boys, including info on the cast, premiere date and more.

1. Who from Season One Is Returning?

Alright, Walter Boys fans, buckle up. The season two cast is giving us everything and everyone (meaning all of your faves are returning).

Nikki Rodriguez is back as Jackie Howard (queen behavior), alongside Noah LaLonde as Cole Walter and Ashby Gentry as Alex Walter. The rest of of main cast—Sarah Rafferty as Katherine Walker, Marc Blucas as George Walker, Johnny Link as Will Walker, Corey Fogelmanis as Nathan Walker, Connor Stanhope as Danny Walter, Zoë Soul as Hayley, Will's fiancé, and Jaylan Evans as Skylar are back as well.

2. Who Joined the Season Two Cast?

Now here’s the tea: we’re getting five new characters this season. Yep, five. According to Tudum, Natalie Sharp (The Flash) joins as B. Hartford, a rodeo champ who’s about to stir up some drama with one of the Walter boys. Then there’s Carson MacCormac (Locke & Key) as Zach, a senior with some major bad-boy energy who’s got his eye on Nathan. Janet Kidder (Star Trek: Discovery) will play Grace’s mom, Joanne Wagner, and Riele Downs (Bel-Air) is Maria, a flirty addition to Alex’s Driver’s Ed class. And finally, Jake Manley (The Order) steps in as Wylder Holt, a competitive bronc rider ready to shake things up for Alex.

3. What Is Season Two About?

Netflix hasn't officially released a synopsis for the second installment but creator Melanie Halsall told Tudum, “Season 2 is bigger and better.”

“We’ve got massive set pieces in each episode, and the stories are more intricate," she added. "We found our feet with our characters, [and] the actors really understand their characters now. When I was coming back, I was excited to start shooting again because I knew we had great stories to tell.”

As a refresher, the drama kicked into high gear when Jackie finds herself caught between two of the Walter boys: Cole, the charming quarterback with a “player” reputation, and Alex, the kind and steady soul. The season one finale sees Jackie sharing a steamy barn kiss with Cole—only to head back to New York with her uncle, leaving her love triangle unresolved.

4. When Is Season Two Premiering?

Season two of My Life with the Walter Boys is slated for a 2025 release. While Netflix hasn’t shared a specific premiere date yet, they have confirmed that filming recently wrapped in Calgary, Alberta, Canada.

On November 13, Mya Lowe, who plays Kiley in the series, took to social media to celebrate the milestone. “That’s a wrap on s2,” she wrote, sharing a carousel of behind-the-scenes photos. Her post included a snap from a table read featuring the script with her name on it, along with candid moments with her fellow cast members.

5. Will There Be a Season Three?

While fans are already crossing their fingers for a third season of My Life with the Walter Boys, Netflix hasn’t spilled the tea just yet. For now, there’s no official word on whether the series will continue beyond season two.

But don’t worry—there’s plenty to keep you entertained while you wait. Season one of My Life with the Walter Boys is available to stream right now, so it’s the perfect time for a rewatch (or to dive in if you’re late to the party). Whether you’re here for the love triangle drama, the heartfelt family moments or just the Walter Boys chaos, season one has it all.
