‘Stranger Things’ Star Millie Bobby Brown Wants to Play *This* Iconic Pop Star in a Movie

Even though Millie Bobby Brown has been pretty booked and busy with her starring roles on Netflix’s Stranger Things and Enola Holmes, the young actress has another dream part in mind for the future.

A few weeks ago, Brown made a special appearance on The Drew Barrymore Show. When asked about her bucket list role, she revealed that she would love to play Britney Spears in a biopic one day. When Drew Barrymore asked her why, she said the singer’s story really “resonates” with her.

“I want to play a real person and I think for me, [it] would be Britney Spears,” the actress said, while casually driving around in a car. “I think her story, first of all, resonates with me. Growing up in the public eye, watching her videos and watching interviews of her when she was younger.”

Spears started making a name for herself at a young age in Hollywood, starring on The All New Mickey Mouse Club at just eleven years old. Much like the singer, Brown started acting at the age of nine, earning guest-starring roles on Once Upon a Time in Wonderland, Grey’s Anatomy and even Modern Family.

Brown told Barrymore (who is a child actress herself) that she believes she can do Spears’s story justice in a future biopic. “I mean the same thing with you [gesturing to Barrymore], it’s like, I see the scramble for words. And I don’t know her but when I look at pictures of her I feel like I could tell her story in the right way and hers only.”
