Martin Henderson Shares BTS Photo from ‘Virgin River’ Season 5 Set: ‘Jack’s Back!’

Calling all Virgin River fans! Martin Henderson is reporting live from the set of season 5.

This week, the 55-year-old actor (who plays Jack Sheridan) posted a rare behind-the-scenes photo of Virgin River season 5. The pic not only confirmed that production has begun on the popular Netflix series, but it also gave a never-before-seen glimpse of Henderson’s trailer.

The selfie offers a close-up view of Henderson’s sultry stare, while he rests his hand on his chin à la The Thinker. The actor is sitting inside his trailer on the set of Virgin River season 5, which is now filming in Canada. It’s hard to tell from the pic, but there’s a black leather couch visible in the background.

“Jack’s back! Day 1 of shooting #virginriver,” he wrote. “Season 5—feels good to slip back into Jack’s boots.” Since he shared the post earlier this week, Henderson also referenced the new episodes (which are now streaming on Netflix), adding, “Hope y’all enjoy season 4 tomorrow!!!!”

This news shouldn’t come as a huge surprise, especially since Annette O’Toole (who plays Hope) already confirmed that Virgin River season 5 is in production. “I’m actually leaving tomorrow to go to Canada to film season five,” she told PureWow earlier this month.

O’Toole continued, “I don’t know what happens yet because I only have the first two scripts. But from what I’ve read, it’s going to be good.”

At least we have Virgin River season 4 to hold us over in the meantime.
