In news that will make your Tuesday, Netflix just officially confirmed that new episodes of the hit series Making a Murderer are currently in production. Thank God, because we still have SO MANY QUESTIONS about Steven Avery’s guilty status.
Apparently, the new installment of the series will continue to track the case of convicted murderer Avery, but also that of his co-defendant Brendan Dassey.
Since we last left off, their new legal teams (we’ll miss you, Dean Strang and Jerry Buting!) have been fighting hard to challenge both convictions in the hopes of getting the verdict overturned.
The new episodes--shot by the same executive producers/directors Laura Ricciardi and Moira Demos--will continue on in the same tradition, with exclusive access to Avery’s new lawyer, Kathleen Zellner, and Dassey’s legal team, too.
