If actor James Marsden had a chance to reunite with his former co-star Katherine Heigl for a 27 Dresses sequel, he would do it in a heartbeat. But, what would the movie be about?

Earlier this month, Marsden, 49, sat down for an exclusive interview with E! News and shared his thoughts on reuniting with Heigl, 44, for a follow-up film to the beloved rom-com. Not only did the Dead to Me star reveal that he’s open to filming a sequel, but he already has an angle in mind for the movie.

27 Children,” Marsden shared, before adding, “Bring it on.”

However, the Enchanted alum is not the only cast member who really (really) wants to do a 27 Dresses sequel. Back in February 2019, Heigl revealed to Entertainment Weekly that she would love to come back and do another one.

“I think it would be awesome to see, seriously, what are their lives like 10 years later? Do they end up together? I personally think they did,” she told the outlet.

Heigl continued, “I think [Tess and George] have, like, three kids and she’s made Jane the godmother every time, so Jane has to plan the christenings and the baby showers and the gender-reveal parties, but then all the other bridesmaids [also] make her the godmother. But [Jane and Kevin] can’t get pregnant.”

27 Dresses follows a hopeless romantic named Jane (Heigl), who has always been the perfect bridesmaid. But, when her younger sister Tess (Malin Akerman), gets engaged to a man (Edward Burns) Jane’s secretly in love with, she starts to question whether or not she has the ability to step up to the role.
