On Monday, September 23, Max dropped some exciting news: some exciting news: The streamer is launching a new game show series called Fast Friends, where you can put your knowledge of the beloved sitcom to the test. This four-part series is all about celebrating the show's 30th anniversary.

So, what can you expect from a Friends game show? According to the press release, it's all about reliving those iconic moments from the series.

"From racing through Rachel and Monica’s apartment to darting across Joey and Chandler’s bachelor pad and grabbing a coffee at Central Perk, fans will re-live their favorite moments while being put to the test with trivia, puzzles, and games that will keep even the most die-hard Friends fans on their toes. The quickest team will win the title of Ultimate Friends Fan," the release states.

While a specific release date hasn’t been announced yet, production is set to kick off next month at The Friends Experience: The One in New York City. This flagship interactive experience boasts 17,000 square feet of nostalgia-filled rooms, activations and recreated sets.

As a refresher, Friends first premiered in 1994, and nearly 30 years later, it still holds a special place in the hearts of fans. Created by Marta Kauffman and David Crane, the show ran for 10 seasons and starred an ensemble cast, including Jennifer Aniston, Courteney Cox, Lisa Kudrow, Matt LeBlanc, Matthew Perry and David Schwimmer.

In 2021, the crew even got back together for a highly-anticipated reunion that brought back so many memories that Aniston revealed she had to walk off set.

“It was all very jarring and, of course, you’ve got cameras everywhere, and I’m already a little emotionally accessible, I guess you could say. So, I had to walk out at certain points. I don’t know how they cut around it,” Aniston told The Hollywood Reporter at the time.

Getting back to Fast Friends, fans wanting to refresh their knowledge before the show hits airwaves can stream Friends on Max.
