Denzel Washington is a Hollywood legend with over 60 films and 88 awards to his name, and it seems his daughter, Olivia Washington, is following in his footsteps.

Olivia is building an impressive career with roles in shows like Chicago P.D. and She’s Gotta Have It. But did you know she’s also starred alongside her famous dad in not one, but two films?

Denzel and Olivia's first collaboration came in 2021 with a crime thriller titled, The Little Things. In the film, Denzel plays Joe "Deke" Deacon, a former detective turned deputy sheriff. He teams up with detective Jimmy Baxter to track down a serial killer, with Albert Sparma as their prime suspect. Olivia plays Amy Anders in the film, which topped Netflix's chart for a week and was nominated for both a Golden Globe and a Screen Actors Guild Award.

Notable mention that Denzel wasn't the only big name attached to this project. Rami Malek, Jared Leto and Natalie Morales all lent their talents to the movie as well.

Later that same year, the father-daughter duo reunited for The Tragedy of Macbeth, a gripping adaptation of Shakespeare’s play. Denzel takes on the role of Macbeth, a Scottish general who is told by three witches that he will become king. Encouraged by his wife, Macbeth kills the king and descends into paranoia.

Olivia appears as a children’s nurse in the eerie thriller.

Both films are now available to stream. You can catch The Little Things on Netflix and The Tragedy of Macbeth on Apple TV+.

When you’re done watching, be sure to check out what Denzel’s other kids are up to—turns out showbiz talent runs deep in the Washington family.
