Brendan Fraser’s biggest supporters were right by his side at the 95th Academy Awards. The 54-year-old actor is nominated for Best Actor for his stellar performance in The Whale. When the Oscar nominee made his grand appearance on the red (or should we say the champagne carpet), the star was joined by his two sons, Holden Fraser (18) and Leland Fraser (16).
Brendan Fraser’s Two Sons Show Their Love & Support on the Oscars Red Carpet
Alongside his girlfriend Jeanne Moore, Brendan’s sons—who he shares with his ex-wife and former George of the Jungle co-star, Afton Smith—proudly stood by their father in support of his first-ever Oscar nom. The two teens appeared to be all smiles as they walked the champagne carpet together.
Holden and Leland had a chance to speak to Laverne Cox about their father on the E! Live Red Carpet broadcast. When asked about his father’s nomination, Holden shared that he was “so excited” for his dad. He continued, “We are unbelievably proud...Over the moon.” Brendan, who held back tears after hearing his son’s touching remark, shared that he is going to try and soak in every “moment” tonight.
We love an iconic family moment on the red carpet.
