This $8 beauty dupe is giving Youthforia’s viral color-changing blush a run for its money.

On the latest episode of What the Dupe, PureWow creator Matthew compared two similar products: Color Changing Blush Oil by Youthforia ($36) and Selfie Cheek Tint by Hard Candy ($8).

In the episode (see above), Matthew explained that color-changing blush is “supposed to match your skin’s PH-level upon application.” He continued, “It goes on clear and then gives you the perfect blush for your skin tone.”

While the Youthforia liquid looked green in the bottle, the Hard Candy one was clear. Regardless, they can be applied the same way. “Both of these products can be used alone, or they can be worn on top of makeup,” Matthew clarified.

After trying the Youthforia product, Matthew admitted that he has “no complaints.” He said, “So natural. So pretty. I feel like I can even do a little bit more.” He also confirmed that it can be layered, adding, “We know it’s buildable, which is great. It feels lightweight, it’s not heavy at all. It’s a little sticky, but it’s not bothering me.”

How did the Hard Candy product stack up? Watch the video above to hear Matthew’s thoughts.
