Expertise

Most of my work at PureWow goes on behind the scenes, as I research and pitch original article ideas and strategic article refreshes across our key verticals. You can often find me conducting extensive research that informs our writers and editors what to cover in each article to demonstrate our authority and satisfy our readers' curiosity—and sometimes, you can find me writing a few myself as I dust off the ol' English degree.

Experience

I have over six years of experience working at the intersection of creativity and strategy. For over half that time, I've worked in editorial—first across the portfolio of brands for the video department at Dotdash Meredith, then for the past two years at PureWow. Prior to my work in this space, I worked in arts education as the social media director for a burgeoning nonprofit organization.

Education

I graduated from the University of Pennsylvania in 2018 with a B.A. in English and a minor in math. (Can you tell I really love that intersection between creativity and strategy?) I became skilled at reading text critically and analytically, and I took journalism courses with working editors that honed and expanded my writing abilities—stretching from personal narrative and pop culture critique to long-form journalism and in-depth profile.
