Dr. Shuting Hu is a cosmetic chemist and biologist with eight years of experience in the skincare industry. She was previously a director at SkinData Research & Innovation at the University of Hong Kong, where she studied biology and how natural ingredients affect the skin. She's one of the youngest cosmetic scientists awarded by IFSCC (The International Federation of Societies of Cosmetic Chemists) and received the IFSCC Henry Maso Award in 2013 due to her contribution on the development of novel natural ingredients for skin health. In 2018, Dr. Hu was selected by Sephora Accelerate program as the first entrepreneur from Asia and developed her cosmeceutical brand, Acaderma.
