Zodiac Signs That Are Unstoppable When Paired Together

Let’s be real: most people get into astrology because they’re curious about relationships, and as an astrologer, the majority of my clients come to me seeking advice about two things: love and career. It seems obvious to ask about compatibility when it comes to romantic scenarios, but relationships in the workplace often go overlooked. I do relationship readings of all kinds, and my favorites are always for business and creative partners.

Interestingly, I’ve found that more than in romantic relationships, work connections really blossom between those of the same sign. My friends who run a creative agency together are both Aquarius, Mary-Kate and Ashley are literal Gemini twins who have run a business together since the womb, and both Ben and Jerry are Pisces (born four days apart in the same year!). I also once worked at a small office where four out of 12 employees were born in the same week. That said, not every work pairing should be Frick and Frack. Sometimes we need a work wife with a different set of skills. Here are three zodiac pairs that are unstoppable together.

1. Capricorn (Dec 22-Jan 19) & Aquarius (Jan 20-Feb 18)

The most famous example of the Capricorn and Aquarius power couple is of course Oprah Winfrey (Aquarius) and Gayle King (Capricorn). Though they’re primarily besties, they’ve also consistently worked together over the years, and though they have a lot in common, they bring separate skills to the table. Both Capricorn and Aquarius are ruled by Saturn, the planet of structure, longevity and achievements. Capricorn is an earth sign concerned most with structural integrity and tangible, material results. Capricorns put their energy into quality assurance, what they build is very hard to disassemble (for better or for worse). Aquarius, on the other hand, is an air sign concerned most with social order and creating long term structures for ideas. As a fixed sign, Aquarius is always loyal and in it for the long haul while cardinal sign Capricorn is more inclined to jump around and initiate. Together, these two are world builders, turning even the tiniest project into something meant to last.

2. Pisces (Feb 19 – March 20) & Libra (Sept 23 – Oct 21)

I know what you’re thinking: Pisces and Libra are known for being two of the least decisive signs in the zodiac, how could they possibly be a work power couple? But here’s the thing: though both signs are sensitive (both personally and to others’ needs), they’re more comfortable being assertive in each other’s company. Pisces empowers Libra to be the leader they were born to be (Libra, like the more boss-like Capricorn, Cancer and Aries, is a cardinal sign after all), while Libra actually listens to Pisces and helps make their wildest dreams come true. Pisces are big picture people whereas Libras get really excited about executing the details. These two plan amazing events together, and in an office setting really push the culture forward.

3. Virgo (Aug 23 – Sept 22) & Taurus (Apr 20 – May 20)

Though Virgo and Taurus are both earth signs, they each prioritize very different things, and complement each other well. As the fixed earth sign, Taurus is concerned with building solid systems and structures that promote long term stability. Once bulls commit, they are rock solid and can often be loyal to a fault. Virgos on the other hand are detail-oriented crisis managers who are constantly adjusting and willing to go with the flow. Virgo figures out what needs to be done and is great at delegating while Taurus has endurance and will always finish what they start. An example of this power couple in business is Mark Zuckerbeg (Taurus) and Sheryl Sandberg (Virgo). Zuckerberg’s original Facebook business partner on the other hand—Eduardo Saverin, who he had a major falling out with—is a Pisces. While Pisces have the same mutable ability as Virgos to go with the flow, they’re much more emotionally (almost psychically) driven, and at the end of the day, Taurus does better with someone more grounded and practical.
