It’s another busy week between eclipses, and the revelations just keep coming. On the 30th, buoyant Jupiter conjoins life-changing Pluto for the second time this year, having last met on April 4th. Whether it’s changing our career or cleaning out our closet, the meeting of these planetary powerhouses brings us yet another epiphany about what desperately needs to change. On the same day, Mercury—still moving backwards—meets the sun marking the halfway point of the communication planet’s retrograde journey. This aspect helps us put what we’ve been experiencing over the last few weeks into words. We may surprise ourselves with how much we have to say.
Then on the 1st, rule master Saturn ends his brief tour of Aquarius and returns to Capricorn through December—it’s no wonder independent, logical thinkers like Barack Obama and Princess Di were born with this in their charts. With Saturn in Aquarius since March 21st, we have been previewing what our personal and collective futures holds, especially in regards to technological innovation and community building. But now with Saturn’s return to Capricorn, we get a final chance to review the challenges we’ve faced since December 2017. And as we head into the 4th of July weekend—and prepare for yet another eclipse on the 5th!—it’s an especially important time to consider how we’ve been limited by the history we’ve been taught and the stories we’ve been told. Capricorn is all about structure and discipline and the more knowledge we integrate, the stronger our foundation.
